A Merry Knitting Christmas

I was blessed with some great knitting gifts this Christmas! My very cool sister-in-law sent me the book "Unexpected Knits" by Debbie New. It is a beautiful book with amazing photos of the most creative knitting I have ever seen. It is truly fiber art. Susan also sent me an ounce of Qiviuk (Arctic muskox). The yarn is just lucious. I can't wait to knit this stuff. I'm thinking about making this Wavy Feathers Qiviuk Scarf.

Oh, how great! I've heard only praise about this book and have it high up on my "Want that too" list ;) Looking forward to seeing what you're going to make first!

Don't you just love it when Santa knows you well enough to just pick out the perfect gift?

Hey, just came over to visit your blog since you left a comment on mine. I just wanted to say that hey snow could still happen, after all they seem to be getting some in New Mexico this year.
