I thought I had seen it all, but every knitter should see this. Is your project overwhelming you? Is it just too large to think about? Perhaps you can borrow Dave Cole's Knitting Machine. What size would you give those needles? Size 1000 US? Larger?

Process vs. Project - I'm not sure if it's looking for yarn, looking for patterns, reading about knitting, talking about knitting, listening to others talk about knitting (PodCasts), the actual knitting, or finishing a knitting project that contributes most to the preservation of my sanity. Hopefully, it's not the latter because if the organization of my brain is anything like my collection of unfinished projects, I'm in BIG trouble.

Oh your vest is lovely! I like how the main cable evolves in the V-neck. I find that vests are so useful and makes knitting time much faster without the sleeves to knit and attach.
