Lovely Lace and Trekking Fall

I promised to post the yarn I purchased at Mind's Eye Yarns in Cambridge last week. The above pic is Lucy's hand dyed yarn. As you can see, I've started "Simply Lovely Lace Socks" designed by Karen Baumer in Interweave Knits Spring 2006. It's light, bright, and fun to knit.

Everything but the toe... Trekking Fall Sock #1 is all but finished. This is another sock for the Theresa's Family Sock list.

Wow, what a pretty yarn - I love the shades of green in it! And the sock is absolutely beautiful, such calm colors - looking so soft and comfy!

I'm so excited to see my yarn knit up on your site! It makes me feel like I've arrived. I've started an Etsy shop if you ever want more. http://mindseyeyarns.etsy.com
The Trekking socks look delicious. I've been working with some I got somewhere else and I have to start carrying it!

You have selected beautiful yarns. I don't know how to knit socks, need to learn the skills with my mother this summer.
