Vigil Bag Before and After
I finished the purple bag. I might actually carry this one for a while. I would also like to try the groovy Fake-a-gamo Bag. But, I think the straw/rattan hardware is a must. I have no clue where I could find that. A quick search brought back nada.

Wow! That bag is gorgeous! It's making me want to knit one right now and I'm not even a pocketbook person.
Your new bag is so pretty! The shades are so nice,you are really good with color combination.
I also like that Ferragno bag and agree with you about the Rattan/Straw issue. It's hard to find a similar top like the original one but a curved bamboo one may work as well.
